After extensive training at the prestigious master program at the Fachschule für Blumenkunst near Munich, Germany and various stints elsewhere in Europe and Australia Kurt Rausch moved to New York City.  He since has become a highly sought after floral designer for fashion powerhouses including:

Tom Ford, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Delpozo, Marc Jacobs, Carolina Herrera, Saint Laurent, Jason Wu, Derek Lam and many others.

During his many travels in Asia, Rausch developed a deepening interest and knowledge in Ikebana (the Japanese art of flower arranging), Zen scholar gardens and the minimal architecture of Tadao Ando, Toyo Ito and Kenzō Tange.  Their strong minimalistic architectural language, combined with his preference of Bauhaus style inspiring clean lines, inform Rausch’s penchant for an eclectic blend of design and distinct contrasts while maintaining a clarity that is minimalistic, sleek and harmonious.

An intrepid traveler he’s always informed on what’s trending, where rare blooms are blossoming and from where can they be harvested and imported in a sustainable way. Socially and environmentally responsible, his firm strives to create designs that are appropriate for his eclectic clientele on both coasts...from New York to Miami and Los Angeles.
